WHY BEYOND THE SCALE IS DIFFERENT
Most weight-loss programs focus primarily on what to eat and how much to exercise. But weight regulation (and the ability to make lasting changes) is more complex than that.
Beyond the Scale brings together two essential pieces that are often addressed separately: physiology and behavior change.
Understand what may be influencing your weight.
Learn how nutrition, blood sugar and insulin sensitivity, movement, sleep, stress, hormones, environmental exposures and other factors can influence metabolism, appetite, energy and weight.
Learn how to actually make changes stick.
Knowing what to do is only part of the equation. Each session also incorporates evidence-based behavior-change strategies to help you turn what you're learning into realistic habits you can maintain over time.
The goal isn't another temporary diet.
It's to give you a better understanding of your body, practical strategies you can use in everyday life, and the tools to build habits that support your health long after you've finished the course.
